Here at Waterfall Farm we are surrounded by rural Norfolk and farmland, making it an ideal location for avid bird watchers. Take a trip to the North Norfolk Coast and visit Holme’s Dunes, Salthouse Marshes or Titchwell Marsh where during the summer months there is potential for a sighting of a Marsh Harrier hunting over the reeds.
There are numerous nature reserves within easy reach of the cottages. Pensthorpe Nature Reserve is less than a 20-minute drive and Sculthorpe Moor is only a few minutes further afield. For other wild life, a trip to see the seals at Blakeney Point or Horsey Gap is a must.
If you’re a keen fisherman, then just along the road from us you can discover Worthing Lakes. A former major aggregate quarry now matured into spectacularly scenic fishing lakes. ( fishing permits are available from us upon request)
